Walkthrough
First, you must construct a wood shovel to unearth the emergency kit.
To do so you must open your inventory and right click on the Wood Shovel script in the Item tab to learn the script. Learning the script will allow you to craft the recipe for it and future items. In order to craft the Wooden Shovel, you'll need to first obtain wood.
To harvest wood - First equip the Knife in the equipment tab of your inventory. Either right click it, or assign it to a number on the quickbar. After equipping the knife, hold right click near any Tree-like vegetation until the progress bar depletes entirely. Once you obtain 10 Wood blocks, craft the Wooden Shovel.
Now equip the shovel. Head towards the southern end of the crashed ship - a metallic corner should protrude from the ground (that is the emergency kit) When unearthed enough - right click it to open and collect its contents.
Be sure to take the items located in the tabs "Equipment" and "Resource".
After opening the kit you will automatically proceed the to the quest Making Juice.
