Current Projects[]

  1. Convert all pages to use the Template:Script
  2. Convert all pages to use Template:item infobox
  3. Add scripts to the various pages

Item Icons[]

A good way to screenshot icons is in the buy/sell screen because there are no overlays there.

Version Templates[]

The idea behind the different version templates (Category:Version_templates) is to tag every piece of information with them, so readers can guess how reliable and up-to-date a particular piece of information is. But there is another reason why there are so many version templates: to allow editors to see which parts of the wiki need work or at least verification. By clicking the "What links here" link for a version template, all pages will be listed that have potentially outdated information.

It does make sense... On the other hand, I kind of feel that the infobox should be enough to signify the quality and status of the article. Perhaps a note in the relevant field whether the article has been updated with the latest version? Tagaziel (talk) 21:51, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
That's what I thought at first, but then I realized that it wouldn't work. Look at Balloon Bush, for example. You wouldn't be able to update just one section with new information unless you at least verify all the other parts as well, or else the version info would be very misleading. Yield data, shopkeepers' inventory, hunting strategies... just to name a few things one should be able to update without touching the rest of the page. That's why I decided to create small tags, so we can tag every paragraph, even every sentence if it makes sense. TomTungsten (talk) 21:25, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
the issue that comes into play in that example though, is that you have two sources that says that the bush is found in the grasslands. i get the use of that tag when things are still in beta and things are changing constantly. but having repeated data that could have two versions would be confusing. as well as since the game is now in alpha, that shouldn't be an issue as any new pages should be with the newest information. having a line somewhere stating that the info on this page is from version such and such, would be a good idea such as a notification template (and so much easyer to modify and keep track of tbh) if someone is going to attempt to look at the used in portion of the template to try to update things, it could look way to daunting. --Chrissyofhailfire (talk) 07:25, 21 February 2017 (UTC)
